## What Contacts Pro does

Contacts Pro is a Shopify app that gives merchants a richer, more
flexible view of every customer than the native Shopify customer
screen. Instead of a flat list of names and orders, you get a full
customer record with custom fields, store credit, login activity,
marketing consent state, and an activity log — all kept in sync with
Shopify in real time.

It is designed for stores that have outgrown Shopify's built-in
customer tools but don't want the weight of a full external CRM. One
install, one screen in your Shopify Admin, every contact in one place.

## Core features

- Store credit — add or deduct per customer, set expiration dates,
  optionally notify the customer, full transaction log.
- Login tracking — every customer storefront login is recorded; total,
  first, last, and an analytics dashboard with trends.
- Custom fields — birthdate, gender, job title, tax ID;
  auto-configured on first use; visible in Shopify Admin; included in
  CSV exports.
- Bulk operations — delete, tag, or untag thousands of contacts; runs
  in the background with progress bar.
- CSV import / export — Shopify-compatible format; large imports
  background; search-filtered exports on demand.
- Real-time Shopify sync — customer updates, deletes, tag changes, and
  marketing consent changes propagate both ways instantly.
- Marketing consent — email and SMS toggles synced two-way with
  Shopify; included in imports/exports.
- GDPR compliant — all three Shopify mandatory webhooks implemented.

## What Store Guard does

Store Guard watches every visitor, customer, and order on your Shopify
store, scores risk in real time on a transparent 0–100 scale, and lets
you block traffic you don't want before it turns into a problem. Built
around three signals: IP intelligence (geolocation, VPN, proxy, threat
history), customer history (order patterns, chargebacks, repeat
offences), and a customisable rule engine.

You decide what gets blocked, what gets flagged for manual review, and
what just gets a tag on the order. Every decision is explained, every
rule can run in test mode first, and the whole thing fails open if our
service is unreachable so a real customer is never stuck at checkout.

## Core features

- Real-time risk scoring (0–100) with transparent factor breakdown.
- IP intelligence — VPN / proxy / datacentre / known-bad-IP detection
  with threat-history data and geolocation.
- Customer history — order pattern analysis, cancellation and
  chargeback rates, repeat-offender detection.
- Custom rule engine — e.g. "block if order over $500 from a VPN" or
  "flag if cancellation rate over 30%."
- Test mode — run any rule in log-only mode first.
- Manual review queue — flag rather than block borderline orders.
- Fail-open checkout — sub-200 ms validation alongside Shopify
  checkout; failure-tolerant by design.
- GDPR compliant — all three Shopify mandatory webhooks; PII stripped
  from associated orders on customer redact.

## Who Store Guard is for

Merchants who:
- Are seeing chargebacks, fraudulent orders, or cancellation patterns
  that Shopify's built-in fraud analysis isn't catching.
- Ship internationally and need country-level or IP-level controls
  without writing custom code.
- Want explainable risk scores so support and fulfilment teams
